Oh that “S word” that simultaneously bristles the backs of feminists, apostates, and some Christian women.

What does it mean to be a spiritual leader? In my mind, a spiritual leader is not someone who tells me how to act, how to believe, and how to live my life; it is someone who lovingly guides me toward goals I have to be a better person and better child of God.

Friendships are so special that a holiday was created to celebrate them. Galentine’s Day is celebrated on February 13th each year to honor female friendships. This holiday started from a sitcom episode in 2010, but because loving, supportive female friendships are so valuable, it stuck.

I did not aspire to be involved in mentoring. In fact, if mentoring had been a conscious choice, I would have run as far from it as possible.

My husband and I love to have guests in our home. Especially those who stay a few days. I try to make their room as comfortable as possible, even personally testing the bed with a little nap.
