It’s 2022, and I would like to believe we have become a more environmentally-conscious people. Considering the recent pandemic, we are also a crafty bunch, taking up new hobbies and inspiring creativity.

In the highs and lows of a pandemic, we stand as a defeated people at times- confused and at a loss for answers with what will happen next. Everyone has had to adjust in some way, especially in our churches and how we worship.

[As seen on CharismaMag.com] I knew the moment was coming soon. I had awaited hopefully, but not necessarily patiently, for the day the love of my life would propose. So, of course it makes sense for me to be thinking about the question "what is love?" Instead of relying on a world full of people influencing and telling you what love is. let's go back to the foundation.

Everyone has that one thing that makes them emotional, releases stress, spikes endorphins, something that draws every fiber of your being to feel so deeply. For me, that thing is music. Music is so beautiful in the way it speaks to everyone so diversely. It can cause you to feel emotions in a way you wouldn’t experience them otherwise.

So, I’m sure you’ve all heard about avocado toast; it’s all the rage and for very good reason, too! Avocados are not only super flavorful when seasoned right, but they have great texture and many health benefits as well. If you don’t think you could like avocados or are a little on the edge about them, I am here to change your mind.

In honor of National Cancer Survivor Day this Sunday, we want to recognize our strong and resilient members who endured the battle of cancer.
