Volunteerism is the heartbeat of Christian Care Ministry. It is a natural extension of our mission to share one another’s burdens. With the current state of social distancing and area-wide lockdowns, it’s difficult to think of how one can continue to volunteer his or her time in impactful ways.

Medi-Share is all about the wellness of our members as well as employees. We encourage our members to live a healthy lifestyle to glorify God so they have the physical means to serve God in the work He has called them to do. To help our members who struggle with their health, our Health and Wellness department has a team of Health Coaches.

Periodically, we like to highlight some of our outstanding employees at Christian Care Ministry (CCM), and learn a little bit more about their story. Meet David O'Riordan! He serves as the Senior Operations Manager for our Contact Center in our offices in Colorado Springs, CO.

In a season of incredibly busy, hectic schedules volunteering is probably not at the top of your to-do list. For me this year, volunteering at a local ministry that provides transitional housing for homeless women and their children was the kick-off to my holiday season.

As we navigate through this season of Thanksgiving, we are reminded of the constant grace and love the Lord extends to us every day. No matter what season of life, we have so many reasons to give Him praise for His faithfulness and provision in our lives.
