October is here and Medi-Share is excited to celebrate Pastor Appreciation Month!
We have so many incredible pastors across Christian Care Ministry and others who have impacted lives outside the walls of our ministry as well. Let’s come together and lift up our spiritual leaders as they serve to further God’s Kingdom and help us grow in our personal walks.
In recognition of Pastor Appreciation, we’re featuring our beloved Jerry Lawrence, Vice President of Finance. He has faithfully served CCM for the last 15 years in many areas but has most recently taken on the role of Spiritual Director. Additionally, Jerry pastors a church in West Melbourne, Fla.
Throughout his time serving at CCM, Pastor Jerry has encouraged employees in a multitude of ways, extending a hand of grace to those in need and embodying what a Godly leader for this ministry looks like.
When recently giving the message at an employee chapel service, he emphasized our ambassadorship for God and how we have our own calling and purpose that God had ordained for each one of us.
“When you recognize who you are, when you recognize whose you are, when you recognize your purpose, then God is going to position you.” – Pastor Jerry
He leads by example and we know God is going to continue to use him for the Kingdom with the calling that has been appointed to him.
When asked how the CCM family could pray for him, Pastor Jerry said, “I want to hear the voice of God. I don’t want to get in the way. I don’t want to miss Him.”
Let’s lift Pastor Jerry and his family up in prayer, today!
