Both Jose and Estrella came to the US from Cuba as children, on a freedom flight and a banana boat, respectively, with nothing but the clothes on their backs.

Christian Care Ministry is the organization that administers the Medi-Share program for more than 400,000 members. More than 700 employees are serving our members, and share the same commitment to Biblical values that our members do. Our staff brings the gifts and talents God gave each of them and they use them here at this ministry to serve our members and their co-workers, and lift each other up through prayer and community.

Chances are, you’ve seen the challenges out there during this season to publicly proclaim something you are thankful for each day in the month of November. We generally do think of this as the month of thankfulness and, truly, there is much to be thankful for in every season.

It’s incredibly easy to become lost in the abundance of ornate decorations, bright lights and brilliant sparkles, and the lure of holiday sales. The holidays are about more than the glitz of the season and its material offerings.

How would you define stewardship? What does it mean to be a good steward – of our finances, our health, our resources, our time? The list could on.

Our member spotlight for November is on Matt and Alli Owen, who are already quite the celebrities after a number of national articles highlighted the couple recently, including MSN Money.

Christian Care Ministry is once again shining a light on some of our Medi-Share members and the Kingdom work they are doing in their communities and beyond. Philip and Julia Olsen, members for more than two years now, are a couple our employees met while attending FinCon, an annual conference put on by a fellow Medi-Share member that highlights money and media.

In celebration of 25 years of service, Christian Care Ministry (CCM) held it’s first-ever “Day of Sharing,” a nationwide initiative to motivate and mobilize people to share their time, talents, faith, and resources to serve others.
