I am continually amazed at how relevant the Bible is to “modern” challenges that we face.

As offices all over the country decided to close their doors and send employees to work-from-home in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, employees were forced to learn how to successfully work remotely very quickly. This was a drastic change for many as it stripped employees of their usual day-to-day office activities and required them to create new workplace habits.

Christian Care Ministry, which facilitates the Medi-Share program, reached a milestone in 2018 of serving its members for 25 years. CCM leadership and its Board of Directors wanted to celebrate the milestone and considered a number of possibilities. Traditionally, national organizations have hosted splashy 25th Anniversary dinners or events inviting dignitaries to commemorate the milestone. Christian Care Ministry went in a different direction.

Medi-Share members love sharing each other’s burdens, praying and supporting one another, and saving on health care too. In fact, our commitment to helping members save is one of Robert M.’s favorite things about Medi-Share!

But many Americans are finding they have limited options in the state-based, federally-run health care marketplaces. In 2020, about 10% of enrollees (living in 25% of counties) had access to just one insurer in the marketplace.
