Who will love and care for me?

While growing up, I loved riding my bike around the neighborhood. We spent hours doing “tricks” down our steep driveway. I distinctly remember my brother standing on the bicycle seat as he careened down the incline. I’m sure we gave my mom a heart attack… or maybe she was blissfully unaware inside the house.

Before I became a parent, I thought the term “mom guilt” was so silly. Why would all these lovely moms even think for a second that they weren’t good enough?! Clearly they were divinely chosen for the children God provided them… so what was the big deal?

As seen in Charisma: Children are a true blessing from God, even on the days we may not feel like it. It is both an honor and a tremendous responsibility to raise a child up in the way he should go.

Have you ever been discouraged or asked yourself, “Why should I pray? What difference does it make?” Or has someone shared how they were praying for you and in that moment, you knew someone was believing with you?
