[As appeared on Star Tribune] Whether you grew up with a brother or sister, or maybe multiple siblings, those with whom you share parents (and sometimes a room with!) create a bond that is not usually easily broken. Sometimes you fight like cats and dogs, sometimes you are the best of friends.

Following a week of service at the Center of Hope in Inglewood, CA for 1DayLA, Christian Care Ministry/ Medi-Share leaders celebrated partnerships with Volunteers in Medicine and Missions.Me to continue to assist the underserved in the Los Angeles area.

At Medi-Share, we have some really outstanding employees who work hard to serve our members each and every day. As we seek to impact the Kingdom through excellent customer service, managers like Jenni Green move us that much closer to our goal. We hope you enjoy getting to know her and hearing a little bit about her heart for the Lord and for our members!

As we head into the Father's Day weekend, Christian Care Ministry employee Chris Goettig was asked to share a bit about his life and testimony during a recent employee chapel service. We pray you are as blessed by his testimony as we were as employees.

I remember being a child in the early 90’s, in the days before internet was available in every home, much less in every hand. Our family had a routine of watching Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, and the local news. The games shows were for entertainment, the local news was for educating us on things happening in our small West Texas town. I grew up in the hub of the “Big Country,” though if you have ever visited this area of Texas you know that “Big” describes the expanse, not the experience.

In honor of National Cancer Survivor Day this Sunday, we want to recognize our strong and resilient members who endured the battle of cancer. They have fought and now have beautiful and powerful testimonials of healing and redeeming grace to share and encourage others with. Read their journies of overcoming!
