In the nine months that lead to a baby’s birth, most parents experience a range of emotions, from overwhelming joy to fear of the unknown. With four young children, members Jordan and Anna know those feelings well. And they’ve come to find out that their Medi-Share community shares in every single one of them.
Anna and Jordan joined Medi-Share because they wanted a solution that aligned with their values while also providing time-tested financial assurance. The two of them agreed that the faith-based healthcare sharing model was a good choice for their family because of its affordability and biblical approach.
As their family grew, Anna and Jordan were especially pleased with the maternity care structure that they experienced with Medi-Share. When a member calls to relay the news of a new pregnancy, they’re directed to one of our Maternity Specialists who helps to guide them through the process and support them in prayer.
“They rejoice with us,” Anna says, speaking of the Maternity Specialists at Medi-Share. “They’re just so excited.”
Jordan and Anna also mention the peace of mind that they’ve found during Anna’s pregnancies. When welcoming a new baby, there are always questions about the health of your child, and those unknowns can be overwhelming. Anna adds that most people also question, “What’s this going to do to us financially?”
But for Anna and Jordan, the question of maternity-related finances has never been a concern while they’ve been members of Medi-Share. Once they met their annual household portion, prenatal and postnatal maternity expenses were fully shareable. This financial assistance brought a sense of calm to the expecting parents, allowing them to fully enjoy the gift of a new life.
Jordan says, “We have been afforded the blessing to have all of our children and not have all the [financial] stress that comes with it.”
From a larger perspective, Anna and Jordan appreciate being a part of a community of like-minded believers who prioritize biblical principles. Instead of funding procedures that they don’t agree with, members can rest assured that their money is shared only for community-approved procedures, such as maternity and newborn care.
Anna says, “Aside from being a great value pricewise, [we appreciate] the value they place on life.”
Jordan, Anna, and their children continue to enjoy the benefits of Medi-Share membership. Anna’s voice takes on a note of confidence as she says, “Medi-Share has really empowered me to take the driver’s seat of guiding myself and my family through the journey of health care and what that looks like these days.”
