On August 26, 2026, you’re moving away from the PHCS PPO to Zelis Open Access. There’s no network list to choose from — you can see any licensed doctor or hospital, including the providers you see today. To help you choose well, you’ll have a free tool called Compass Connect to look up providers and compare costs.

How to keep billing smooth, what to do about a surprise bill, and a couple of reminders.
Choose a preferred provider
It’s the easiest path — the smoothest billing and the lowest chance of any added cost to you. Compass Connect points you toward these providers when you search.
If you ever get a surprise bill
It’s rare. If a provider bills you for more than expected, don’t pay the extra right away — a Member Advocate will work directly with your provider to resolve it.

Remember
Keep seeing your current providers until August 26, 2026. Start using your new Medi-Share ID card on that date and discard your old card.
