If you don't already know Fawn Tornicelli (second one from the left in the picture), she is Provider Community Services manager and a longtime employee of Christian Care Ministry. Here is just a little insight into her life so you can get to know her even better. We are so blessed to have such a faithful sister in Christ and so thankful for her servant's heart here at CCM!
Q: What is your position at CCM?I am the Manager of Provider Community Services.
Q: How long have you worked here?
I have been here just shy of 10 years and have served in various roles during that time.
Q: What led you to CCM?
Definitely the LORD’s calling and timing! After a year of not working (due to a previous job ending because the business shut down) I came across a Member Service Representative position at Christian Care Ministry. When I started at CCM, the Lord had HIS perfect plan for my life in place…not a day too soon and not a day too late. I’ve been SO blessed to serve here – with great teams and leadership, both past and present!
Q: What does the Provider Relations team do?
The Provider Community Services team’s Mission Statement is: We are a team dedicated to reaching out, connecting, and building bridges with the provider community. There are a total of 8 folks on this wonderful team. The goal is to work with Pre-service disputes, Data I-Sight disputes, Discount disputes, and come alongside the provider community to educate and direct contract with – thus saving the membership money. Our team has tenure, tenacity, and a HUGH heart for the Lord, Ministry, Providers, Members, and one another! We are truly blessed!
Q: What‘s your favorite thing to do when you aren’t working?
Spending time with the hubby – visiting car shows around the Florida area.
Q: Where were you born?
I was born in Landstuhl, Germany as my father was in the Air Force.
Q: How did you come to know God?
In 1987 I made a full commitment to Christ – and I’m so grateful to be on the continued journey.
Q: What was your experience like in the Air Force?
My service dates were Feb 84 – July 87. I was in Administration and served at Malmstrom AFB, Great Falls Montana supporting both the Base Wing Commander and Security Forces Commander. I finished my active duty career with a Reserve tour at Nellis AFB, Las Vegas, Nevada supporting the testing of the F-117 Stealth “bomber” holding a Top Secret clearance. I met my husband while on Active duty – and prayerfully chose marriage over military – leaving with an Honorable Discharge due to maternity. My husband continued his Active Duty 22-year career, retiring September 1, 2001 – just before 9/11! As a result of the Air Force, as an AF brat, on active duty, and as a supporting spouse, I’ve lived in two countries – Germany and Turkey – lived in 12 states, and have visited 29 additional states.
Q: What else should we know about you?
I’m so blessed to have a heavenly father who loves me, even when I’m not at my best, a VERY patient husband of 36 years, 2 lovely daughters, 1 wonderful son-in-law, 1 adventurous grand-daughter, and last but not least an earthy father who still lets me be his little girl!
