Clara is 63 years old and manages an apartment complex in Anaheim, CA, in exchange for free rent. Two years ago, she was hospitalized for 18 days and was diagnosed with kidney failure. Her life would be forever changed; Clara would now require a customized diet and ongoing metabolic testing and monitoring by a specialist. Clara became afraid that without insurance, she would not receive help. However, Dr Pham, an active volunteer at Lestonnac, provided free expert help to Clara and worked with a volunteer nutritionist to help create Clara treatment plan.
“Thank God the latest results were much better and the best thing about all of this is that I never had to go to the hospital. I am thankful for your attention (Dr. Pham) and kindness. May God bless you, so you can continue to help more people,” said a very happy Clara.
