Medi-Share for Providers

Medi-Share’s NEW Provider Portal is now live and offered through Availity to enhance the provider experience.

  • Validate member eligibility and bill status
  • Submit bills for payment
  • Access remittance viewer
  • View EOS (EOP content)
  • Enroll to receive 835 ERA files via the Availity portal. Providers must configure their FTP client--call 800-282-4548 (800-AVAILITY).

Please note that our EDI number (59355) has not changed and you can continue to submit electronically as you do today.

Medi-Share requires the Household ID (preferred) or SSN as the Subscriber and/or Patient ID when submitting bills. Any other submission will be rejected. The Member ID (called the Household ID#)  is located on the top left corner of the ID Card. It is 11-12 characters long, with the 6th character being a letter (Example: 12345M67890). Dependent codes should NOT be appended to this number. Do not use Dependent SSN. 

When checking bill status, include the claim number (from CLM segment in the 837) and the amount in the 276 request.

Christian Care Ministry (CCM), as the administrator of the Medi-Share healthcare sharing program, receives medical bills from its members, which are a request from the member to effectuate the sharing of said bills by other members within the Medi-Share program. Medi-Share is not insurance. Medi-Share does not receive “claims," is not a "payor" or "health plan," nor does it provide "coverage."
