Is Routine Care Eligible For Sharing?

Routine care is not eligible for sharing with Medi-Share. However, you can use your ID card at in-network providers to enjoy health sharing discounts on routine services. Exceptions include Medi-Share routine care for well-baby check-ups and one annual physical with limited labs per member under the new program levels. These services qualify for sharing or can be applied toward your AHP once met.

Do I have to Use an In-Network Provider?

You don’t have to see an in-network provider with Medi-Share, but doing so can save you money through pre-negotiated discounts. Out-of-network care may involve higher costs and balance billing. To reduce expenses, we recommend using in-network providers whenever possible. Use the Medi-Share provider search tool to find one near you.

Is Maternity Eligible For Sharing with Medi-Share?

Eligible Married Members with an AHP of $3,000 or more can access Medi-Share maternity sharing, which offers up to $125,000 per pregnancy event. This includes expenses for care before, during, and after delivery, along with support for complications.

Is Adoption Eligible for Sharing?

Yes, adoption costs are eligible for sharing (up to two adoption events can be shared per Member Household). The adoption of multiple children at the same time is considered one event.
