But if you're already part of the Medi-Share family, here's some good news: you have a wonderful option right where you are. No need to step outside the community you already trust.
We created Medi-Share 65+ so our members could step into their Medicare years while staying rooted in a Christian sharing community. It's a way to keep carrying one another's burdens, just as Galatians 6:2 calls us to do.
Over the years, Medi-Share 65+ has grown into a meaningful part of our larger sharing family. And whether you're a 65+ member or a regular Medi-Share member, every monthly share goes toward meeting the medical needs of our whole community. We share together. We bless one another. That's the heart of what we do.
Medi-Share 65+ was designed to work hand in hand with Medicare. Once you have Medicare Parts A and B in place, your fellow members help share the medical bills that Medicare leaves behind.
Here's a quick look at how the pieces fit:
Medicare Part A helps with your hospitalization costs.
Medicare Part B helps with about 80 percent of your other medical needs, like physician visits, labs, and outpatient services.
So, what about that remaining 20 percent, that leftover balance? It can add up quickly, especially when you're retired and living on a fixed income. Medicare alone often leaves a real gap in how those remaining bills are met.
That's exactly where your Medi-Share family steps in.
As a Medi-Share 65+ member, you're responsible for a low Annual Household Portion each year. This is simply the amount you pay toward medical costs before your eligible bills become shareable.
Once you've met your AHP, your fellow members help share the expenses Medicare doesn't pay. It's a beautiful reminder that you're never carrying the weight by yourself.
You may have heard of Medigap options offered by private companies and regulated at both the federal and state levels. In general, the more comprehensive the coverage, the higher the monthly cost. Medi-Share 65+ offers a different path, one designed to be affordable, with monthly sharing amounts starting at just $99 and a low annual household amount.
But the difference goes beyond cost. With Medi-Share 65+, you're not simply selecting another health care option. You're becoming part of a Christian community of believers who share your faith, your values, and your commitment to bearing one another’s burdens.
Many of our members use their retirement years to explore the world, visit loved ones, or serve as missionaries abroad. So here's something important to know: Medicare does not help with medical care received outside the United States.
Medi-Share 65+ does. If an emergency or urgent care need arises while you're traveling, you can receive up to $150,000 in lifetime sharing for eligible medical bills abroad. That's real peace of mind, wherever the Lord leads you.
