Notification

Why is Notification required?

  • Notification is required so the Navigation Team can guide and support members who require costly or complex care.

When is Notification required?

  • Healthcare Bluebook indicates when it is necessary to notify the Navigation Team.
  • Most care can be navigated without support but we have a team to support members when care gets costly or complex. Please review Medi-Share Value Guidelines Section V: B more information on notification.

Neither CCM nor any Medi-Share member assume any legal obligation to share in the payment of any medical expense incurred by another Medi-Share member. Medi-Share members are exempt from the individual mandate in the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. See 26 U.S.C §5000 A(d)(2)(B).
