Married Members with an Annual Household Portion of $3,000 or higher who have faithfully shared from the month of conception through the month of delivery are eligible for maternity sharing. Sharing is limited to $125,000 for any single pregnancy event. This includes antepartum care, the cost of delivery and complications to the mother and/or child(ren), and postpartum care. Yes, adoption cost are eligible for sharing (up to two adoption events can be shared per Member Household). The adoption of multiple children at the same time is considered one event. Review Medi-share Complete Guideline Section VIII for additional details.
Routine care is not eligible for sharing; however, if your provider is with PHCS you should present your ID card and have them bill Medi-Share to receive discounts on your routine services. There are exceptions for well-baby care (See Section VII. F.) and one annual physical with limited labs for each member at one of the new program levels, which will be eligible for sharing once the AHP is met or can be applied toward the AHP.
Please note: Well-child care is not shared for members who select the DPC program option, as members who utilize a DPC provider will have access to well-child care through their DPC arrangement.

The cost of CMS or FDA approved testing, treatments, and up to six months of FDA approved prescription drugs per eligible condition will be considered for sharing. Section VI. A. Your previous Member ID card contains outdated pharmacy information so you will no longer be able to use it at the pharmacy. That’s why it’s important to make sure you present your new card at the pharmacy and let your pharmacist know your pharmacy information has changed.

Yes. Testing and treatment for Coronavirus (COVID-19) are eligible for sharing, like costs for any testing or treatment of a confirmed illness, based on the Medi-Share Guidelines. Members should utilize free telehealth as their first route of care and, if further treatment is recommended, utilize your preferred provider network when appropriate.
