For those who have Medicare Parts A and B, Medi-Share 65+ is a community of believers sharing one another's medical expenses and supporting each other along the way.
Here's how it works:
Every member pays a low monthly cost: $99/month for those 65 -74 and $150/month for those 75 and older.
After you see a Medicare provider, Medicare will be billed first.
Medicare will send you and your provider a Medicare EOB (Explanation of Benefits) with your responsible costs like copays, deductibles, coinsurance for surgeries, office visits, emergency room visits and more.
Your provider will forward your EOB (Explanation of Benefits) and the remaining bill to Medi-Share.
Every member pays a low annual household portion (AHP) of $500 before medical bills are eligible for sharing.
If expenses are eligible for sharing Medi-Share will share in the remaining costs, including large medical events once the AHP has been met
Plus, you get 24/7 Telehealth access for things like colds, sinus infections, or a stomach flu.No Medicare deductible needs to be met.
Medicare can leave behind large medical expenses like copays, deductibles, and coinsurance for surgeries, hospitalizations, ER visits, and skilled nursing facilities. These expenses can be extremely costly.
